Canada Excellence Research Chair in Nanomaterial Development
for New Energy Applications
This Chair would focus on developing nanomaterials in the context of sustainable development. Their research activities would involve identifying new nanomaterials that could serve as catalysts for hydrogen storage and related devices such as batteries, cells and supercapacitors. The transportation, green-energy and biomass-conversion industries would benefit directly from the work of this Chair. The resulting research findings would also have an impact on developing equipment for purifying hydrogen gas, as well as molecular coatings.
