The University of Saskatchewan’s Global Institute for Water Security, launched in March 2011, is recruiting candidates from around the world to fill a number of faculty positions. So far, candidates from Scotland, Australia, the United States, Germany and Canada have entered the competition. Faculty members will work directly with Howard Wheater, Canada Excellence Research Chair in Water Security, who was recently named as the Institute’s director. The Global Institute for Water Security is a $30-million investment jointly funded by the Government of Canada, the Government of Saskatchewan and the University of Saskatchewan.
